Greta Residence is a lovely little room right in the heart of the old town of Zadar. Rosa, the landlady is lovely, though she doesn't speak a word of English and this could of made things difficult. However, Greta, has the amazing Marijana and she made staying in Zadar "Simples". She met us when we turned up, recommended a number of great restaurants and bars throughout the city, organised and booked our trips to the Kornati Islands and Plitvice Lakes and National Park, and even took us to the airport upon our return to the UK.
The room itself was beautifully furnished and kept immaculate. It is on the first floor overlooking a quaint restaurant, only 2 mins from the heart of the city centre and 2 mins from a pleasant stroll along the waterfront to listen to the Sea Organ.
The room lacks any tea making facilities (something I recommend they invest in) and because the main residence is an apartment with kitchen, there are no on-site breakfast facilities... more
