Buenos Aires has many neighborhoods and San Telmo is one south of city center.
The San Telmo apartment is clean and comfortable. It is nicely appointed with lovely wood floors, full bath with bidet, memory foam bed, living room and kitchen connected by eating bar, stove, refrigerator, microwave, and washer and laundry sink (with drying rack on balcony), and outside rollup window shades. It is on the eighth floor, with access by two elevators. The building doormen are cordial and helpful, though do not speak much English. The apartment is not overly noisy for its urban location, though there are street sounds. There is also access to the 14th floor deck, with panoramic views of the city and a sauna and pool (which we did not use during our late-fall stay).
