    You enter the house through the original oak studded front door which leads to the Great Hall with a beautiful 17th Century oak inlaid fireplace. This is an incredibly atmosheric room especially when lit by candle light in the evening. Our main dining table is here.

    There are 3 more reception rooms including the drawing room with an enormous 15th Century open fireplace, the panelled Queen Anne sitting room with French windows leading to the croquet lawn and a large Garden Room overlooking the formal gardens with French windows leading to the terrace.

    Additionally there is a small library and a housekeepers sitting room which has been turned into a children's chill out room with easy access to an enclosed courtyard.

    The weekend rate applies to the first 3 night of your stay regardless of the start date - additional nights after the third night will be at a reduced price with reductions for a week.
    Two well behaved dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £25 per dog per stay - but we need to know in advance please
    A non-refundable deposit is made of 40% is made at the time of booking please, the balance is due 8 weeks before your stay. Payment can be made by BACs or cheque.
    We require a refundable good housekeeping / damage deposit of £1,000 please.

Wonderful old house with splendid grounds and facilities, and very well equipped. The is by far the most amazing house & weekend away we have had for many years!! We stayed with 3 families and 8kids over the Easter w/e and there was still room for more friends.
