    As soon as you enter the atmospheric Great Hall you know that you have arrived at a very special place - the perfect backdrop for family parties, celebrations and get-togethers.     You enter the house through the original oak studded front door which leads to the Great Hall with a beautiful 17th Century oak inlaid fireplace. This is an incredibly atmosheric room especially when lit by candle light in the evening. Our main dining table is here.

    There are 3 more reception rooms including the drawing room with an enormous 15th Century open fireplace, the panelled Queen Anne sitting room with French windows leading to the croquet lawn and a large Garden Room overlooking the formal gardens with French windows leading to the terrace.

    Additionally there is a small library and a housekeepers sitting room which has been turned into a children's chill out room with easy access to an enclosed courtyard.

    The weekend rate applies to the first 3 night of your stay regardless of the start date - additional nights after the third night will be at a reduced price with reductions for a week.
    Two well behaved dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £25 per dog per stay - but we need to know in advance please
    A non-refundable deposit is made of 40% is made at the time of booking please, the balance is due 8 weeks before your stay. Payment can be made by BACs or cheque.
    We require a refundable good housekeeping / damage deposit of £1,000 please.

This place is simply amazing and almost to good to describe in words alone! We've just had one of those brilliant winter escape weekends with friends. Blue skies, frosty ground, invigorating fresh air, gorgeous local food and a sherry or two.
