The building itself dates from the thirties, with extensive old wood paneling and great charm. The main level living room is an A frame with high ceiling all in lovely knotty pine and has two huge all leather very comfortable and soft couches facing the fireplace (which we did not use).
The dining table is hand hewn wood and can seat eight. The kitchen is light and large and fully equipped with modern appliances. Bathrooms all had modern and roomy. Beds and linens all were top quality. The place preserves the charm of rusticity without being primitive.
