We had a lovely 4th of July weekend at Sarah's Mountain Hideaway. The house was decorated with a cute mountain theme as in the pictures. The kitchen was well furnished. We had everything we needed. There were deer everywhere! We saw 5-6 on our way in. One morning there were 3 hanging out in our front yard. People must feed them because they didn't seem very afraid, and they only ran away after observing me for a few minutes.
The cabin is inside a gated resort community so guests have use of a pool and other amenities. The roads within the resort are winding and "skinny" and since we weren't familiar with them, driving seemed a little treacherous. We were very happy to just relax at the cabin though. It was nice to have an excuse to slow down a bit.
