Mulberry Cottage is a characterful, traditional stone cottage that has been recently renovated, in the thriving village of Zarakes (Zarka as it is always called locally) in southern Evia.

We spent ten beautiful days in unspoiled island of Evia, small village of Zarakes. Variety of beaches, crystal clear water and rich history make this island inspirational for longer stay and repeated visits. In addition to this, Evia is a resort of local hospitality, as well as more than affordable services, and the opportunity to enjoy unique island life and fisherman's catch. Place to stay is the Mulberry cottage - beautifully renovated traditional house with a lovely sea-view, wide terrace and a fireplace, owned by the outgoing Merry Dallas who will make your visit highly comfortable and homey. Warmness and friendliness of the locals made us feel like we're visiting old friends, rather than like being tourists. We look forward to come again next year! Deana, Milena, Svetlana, Zoja. La casa in pietra è così come appare in foto, contesto bucolico circondati da pecore in un piccolo villaggio. Tranquillo e rilassante, mangiare sul portico era fantastico. Portatevi repellente x zanzare x quando non tira il vento. more
