    When flying into Paris it is very easy to get the TGV(the fast train)from the airport down to Avignon TGV station. w You can pick up a rental car from a selection of companies situated at the station.
    St Maximin is an easy half hour drive from Avignon .
    There are ryan air flights from the UK into Nimes where, again you can rent a car.We are about 40 minutes from Nimes
    .There is also an airport in Avignon and another in Montpellier.

A wonderfully warm welcome from Hester who provided fresh bread, tomatoes, cheese and wine for us upon our arrival. We enjoyed many an evening sitting outside the terrace surrounded by the beautiful white \flowers in the courtyard watching the sunset. We stayed in Le Roof Terrace apartment with our son and his wife for three nights in early July. The apartment is stunning, though in a slightly rustic way.
