Casa Capricia has an excellent view of Sayulita - it's nestled on a high hill just above the northeastern side of town. That being said, it is absolutely necessary to have a vehicle that can handle the steep inclines to get to the house. My group rented a Dodge Durango, which could handle the slopes, but was almost too wide for the road. If you aren't in decent physical shape, walking up and down the hill to and from town may not be an option for you.
First, the good parts about Capricia: The beds were comfortable, it was nice having a private bathroom (there are 3 rooms with a king-sized bed and private bathroom), the kitchen was relatively well-equipped (plus a grill, for fish tacos!) and there was plenty of space for the six of us that stayed here last week. The house is also stocked with plenty of linens, a washer/dryer and cleaning supplies if needed.
The bad parts: Capricia needs a lot of work, both major and minor. The big things? The are housing the hot... more
