Villa Esha Drupadi 11 looked so wonderful from the photos and this is where the positives ended. It is much smaller than it appears in the photos and is situated off a very,very, busy road which meant every time we stepped outside we found the level of traffic and no footpaths with small children difficult and stressful to navigate. The pool is very small, much, much, smaller than it looks in the photos and as we were travelling with three children a good sized pool was important to us.
We arrived early on Nyepi day so I had asked the villa staff to cook us some food as Bali shuts down on Nyepi day and whilst the food was okay it was ridiculously expensive and three of the dishes we asked for were not provided although we were expected to pay for them. This in itself we didn't make a big deal of at the time but in light of everything else made me feel as though the Villa's focus was on how much money they could get out of us rather than taking care of us and making us... more
