Being that I've renovated many houses over the years, I did notice certain aspects of this cabin that truly bothered me. The hole made to put the mirrored cabinet in the bathroom wall , the door and windows lacking trim in areas and better locks, the futon tipping over easily, the broken dining chair, and the ancient stove in the kitchen were all quirks. However, as I only had to spend but a few days here, I found that those some flaws didn't bother me as much when compared to the fantastic warmth from the fire, the open kitchen (or kitchenette), the amazing hot water pressure in the bath, etc. The owner should definitely be slowly replacing some of the older furniture (especially the couch and the two twin beds; it felt like sitting or laying down on either was equivalent to sinking into another dimension), but for now this is actually an okay place to go for the winter with the family.
