Newly renovated. Very clean and our hosts were very helpful. Easy walking to excellent restaurants. Beautiful walking trails within a 10 - 20 min ride. @ hour river cruise very enjoyable and only 5 min walk away. Extras were nice. Milk, coffee, tea, juice, s&p, spices, plush towels, excellent array of activities all neatly arranged in notebooks with maps and brochures very helpful. Thanks for all of the above.

Management response:

Part of the fun of having an urban inn is meeting nice people who appreciate all the wonderful things in the Rondout waterfront. Hope to see you again! more

4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

This is a very nice 3 room apartment on the 3rd floor of an old building. The 1st floor is an antique shop that is only open by appointment. I stayed on the 3rd floor, the stairs (only way to get there are not handicap acceptable) are quite steep. Most of the furnishings are from the shop, family's with small children need to be advised. There is a futon for 2 and a queen bed also. It is 3 blocks from the waterfront and restaurants. It is very clean and fully equipped with all the necessities. The fire escape is through the kitchen window you have to be able to climb over the sink. There is on street parking only. We used the apartment as a base to see the area sites, we ate breakfast (supplied by us) and left for the day.

Management response:

Thank you for your review. It's true we are an old historic building (1820's) in a historic district and our decor maintains that same spirit. For most of our guests,... more
