We stayed with our young teenage son for a week last summer and I have no idea why I have not reviewed this wonderful place until now.
I have never been in such a small place that had so much to offer - it truly is like the tardis inside - two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and dinning area on the ground floor and a magnificent lounge on the first floor with sea views, all beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean along with a tiny decked garden also beautifully maintined. The location is outstanding, just a few minutes walk to Croyde Beach in one direction and the pubs and shops of Croyde in the other.
Now for the stuff that you need to know.
Access to the cottage is along a narrow, potholed, unmade road - if you are car proud it's a bit of a challenge.
The smoke alarm goes off every time you use the toaster or the oven - get over it and open the back door.
There is a campsite just over the back fence - this opened the day we were leaving so I have no idea... more
