This is a gem of a place tucked away in the heart of a beautiful little town.
With just the two rooms the place has an exclusive yet homely feel. Tastefully decorated by the owner with a mix of local art and objects acquired further afield, each with interesting stories. The accommodation combines to have everything that is needed for the self sufficient traveller, such as a kitchen and laundry, or for those who want a comfortable, homely base from which to explore the area. A games room and comfy reading lounge were ideal after a long day.
One of the highlights is the beautiful garden, both in which to relax and to sample home grown fruit and vegetables. It was also a treat to find a place that happily catered to specific dietary needs, so wonderfully and with such little fuss.
The friendliness of the owner, Sara, combined with her local knowledge and home cooking made this one of the best stops on my trip!
