we really enjoyed our stay at the cottage our hosts were welcoming and friendly, the cottage is decorated in a traditional style and has everything you need, its set in an area of unspoilt countryside with lovely walks and wildlife on your doorstep, our only dissapointment was the local pub has closed, but the shops and pubs/ restaurants are not far away in Alston. more

Ennerdale house suited us down to the ground as we loved being able to access walks from the doorstep, while being close to shop and pub, and facilities in Alston. Lovely area, and great hosts - thank you. The house was very suitable for families with young children and our 18 month old daughter adored it - especially being ale to baa at sheep she could spot through the window every morning! more
