    Situated near the start of the Cumbrian Way, there is fantastic hill and coastal walking/mountain biking right from the doorstep, with Coniston Old Man only a short drive away.     How to get there
    From the M6 Motorway exit at Junction 36 and take the A590 towards Barrow and Newby Bridge.
    Continue on this road all the way to Ulverston and as you enter the town you reach a roundabout with Booths supermarket on the left, go straight across the roundabout, get into the right hand lane to take the first right immediately in front of the Swan Inn. Drive 100m to the Junction with Ford Park Crescent where you will see Victoria Court on the left.
    Turn left into the gated entrance, drive to the right of the building and park in space allocated to No.7. There is also extra visitors parking in the grounds marked 'V'.

A great place to stay. Benefits of being in Ulverston but near the hode and ford park. Great place to explore the southern lakes. Very comfortable flat with everything that you need. We had a great holiday and hope to go back more

We loved our stay at the Old School apartment which is spacious and contains everything you need for your stay in the area. The beds are comfortable and everything was in good working order and clean. For me this was a trip back in time as I grew up in Ulverston and the building was my old school. It is... more

Easy to find, parkway 50yds from door, grocery shopping a few minutes away so no need to shop beforehand. Wonderful views from the Hoad Monument (energetic only) Bowness on Windermere is a lovely town and for the nature lovers Grizedale Forrest is a must do. Restaurant in Forrest is good. more
