    A delightful chocolate box cottage believed to have 16th Century origins, set in a third of an acre of stunning south facing gardens. Although easily accessible from A303, it is as tranquil and quiet as it is beautiful. Grateley Station is only 1.5 miles away (70 mins to London Waterloo). Stonehenge is a 10 minute drive away.

    The property has 2 1/2 bedrooms, 2 ensuite bathrooms, one of which is a shower room. Kitchen/breakfast room, charming sitting room, downstairs cloakroom and a beautiful conservatory overlooking the stunning garden. It sleeps four comfortably with two double beds and a single in the third bedroom/study. There is a large pond at the end of the garden,fenced, but for safety reasons not suitable for young children. Our stay at Dragonfly cottage was absolutely idyllic. The house itself is beautifully decorated and the sofas and beds are so comfy! The kitchen is very well equipped so great if you want to cook a big roast after a walk around the nearby countryside. We found a small driving range a 20 minute walk away which was great fun... more

We really enjoyed our stay, and were made to feel really welcome by the person in charge of the property. We couldn't have wished for anything more, as we were cooking 3 meals we found all utensils and even some spare ingredients that were left for us! The cosiness is great, and you still get plenty of space to set... more
