The Dairy Cottage has been carefully restored from some stone barns and is set in its own private, sunny gardens beyond the beautiful walled gardens of the main house and sleeps 2 guests in luxury.     Dating from 1820 and fully renovated in 2000, the Coach House was originally part of Stanwick Hall (dismantled, sadly, in 1922) the home of the Duchess of Northumberland. In addition to the spacious Master Bedroom suite on the first floor with a mezzanine, ensuite bathroom and south-facing balcony, the house has a ground floor wing. Rooms in this part of the house overlook the beautiful, private gardens and the 3 double bedrooms next to the house bathroom means that 2 families can enjoy lots of space and privacy.     Additional Rate and Availability Information
    A damages deposit of £250 is required in addition to the weekly rate which includes includes bed linen and the first 2 basket of logs for the fires but not towels. We can provide towels on request for a charge of £5 per person and extra logs at £5 per basket.The final cleaning charge is £60, payable at the end of your stay.

The house was fully equipped and we had a lovely time. The satnav takes you right up to the home and very easy to find. I would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful holiday. more

We stayed at the Coach House for a weekend for a birthday celebration and could not have asked for a better place. It is maintained to a high standard and had absolutely everything you could want during your stay. Just returned from a 3 night stay at the house with friends. 4 ad.5ch. The house and garden were perfect and in a fairly good location. We used the house as a base and explored the dales.
