    Continue past Newcastle and168533 Morpeth on the A1 (M), following signs for Alnwick. Take second exit for Alnwick (Alnwick Gardens), and follow signs for Seahouses(13 miles) along the B1340. As you pass Beadnell on the right, you will bear left along the coast towards Seahouses village. After Seahouses Golf Club on the right, you will arrive in Seahouses village.

    Within ¼ mile, you will come to a garage on the left. Opposite the garage, turn right onto Dunstan View. Keep going down this road and you will pass two pubs on the right, The Schooner Inn and Black Swan. Just after the Black Swan pub .Keep going down this road and you will pass two pubs on the right, The Schooner Inn and Black Swan. Continue straight on to Crewe Street at the top of the harbour.

This was our second time staying at the Fisherman's Rest and there can't possibly be a better location! The lounge is on the second floor and the view across the harbour to Bamburgh Castle is stunning. The accommodation is spotless and a home from home. We will be back for a third visit! more

Me and my partner having been going to seahouses/bamburgh for around ten years. We have stayed in all types of accommodation but I have to say this is the best we have come across in all that time. The view is totally amazing, wonderful watching the sun set behind Bamburgh castle, the cottage is very clean welcoming and warm, more
