I was greeted by Rob and we settled in on a Thursday evening. Unusual for Portland to be in the 90's but so it was. We had an air conditioner in the bedroom and that works for me but I sleep sleep with a man who is sensitive to noise. So strike #! if you want it to be cool, then you gotta put up with the ac motor. ...
The apt. was lovely and spacious and clean!!!
However, the living room and kitchen were in the temperature zone of 76 to 78 degrees. at check in and always! Plenty of windows but none of them had screens. Sorry I am an open window kind of gal but only with screens as lights, even low lights draw bugs indoors. Rob turned on the fan and that circulated air....I wanted the cool evening air!!

I say if you rent here do so in the winter!!!

Management response:

Yes, we had a crazy heat wave here. So sorry you didn't ask for help - we keep extra fans in the supply closet for just this situation. If you turn on the central heat fan it pulls the cooler air from the basement into the room and with the windows open this room actually stays nice even when its... more

My husband and I were visiting Portland for the first time to visit our daughter. She lived 10 blocks away and we wanted to be close and experience the neighborhood feel of Portland. We loved the area. You can walk to restaurants and shops. Felt safe in neighborhood just one street off of east Burnside. Everything you need in apt for everyday living. Enjoyed the front porch with rocking chairs. Used fireplace a lot. Nice fire pit in back. Rob who runs the place very friendly and made sure your trip was great. I would highly recommend this place and so close to everything the city of Portland has to offer more
