My wife, teenage daughter and I stayed for a week in August. The name "Beachwood Cottage" describes it perfectly. It is located right on the ocean/beach, a few miles north of the town of Yachats, Oregon. It is accessed by a narrow driveway, set back through the trees from the highway. Very quite and peaceful for sure!
Kitchen, bath, laundry, dining / living area and bedroom on the main floor. Loft second floor has twin bed area and a futon/sitting area. Nice fireplace, awesome deck and windows overlooking the beach/ocean. It was generally comfortable and cozy for us. Kitchen was fully functional, as was bath and laundry.
The west ground level deck overlooking the ocean offered a BBQ and five plastic chairs which worked fine. There is also a large upper deck facing east, but no chairs available.
