    Calderbrooke is a nicely furnished three bedroom detached cottage situated down a quiet country lane approx. 1/2 a mile from the village and 3/4 of a mile from the beaches. Trevaunance Cove and Chapel Porth possesses good stretches of flat golden sand at low tide with excellent coastal footpaths. This part of the north coast is excellent for surfing, swimming, with deep caves and rock pools. Within a two mile drive Perranporth and Porthtowan can be reached offering traditional seaside attractions along with the cathedral city of Truro only nine miles away. The cottage is well situated for a good touring base for this part of the West Country. The open fire, wood burning stove and the central heating makes this cottage perfect for both summer and winter breaks.

    Sleeps 6. Front entrance into the hallway leads to the furnished lounge with a colour t.v, dvd and an open fireplace. There is a separate reception room with an open fireplace. The large west-facing kitchen looks out onto the garden. It is fitted with an electric hob with a double oven, a fridge, dishwasher, dining table with chairs and a wood-burning stove. There is a utility room with a freezer, tumble dryer and washing machine. The bedrooms upstairs are spacious and they have been furnished nicely with ample cupboard space. Bedroom one has a super king-size bed, bedroom two has two single beds and bedroom three has 3ft bunk beds. A travel cot and high chair is supplied. The cottage is situated about 5 minutes from Chiverton Cross roundabout which gives you access to all the main routes through Cornwall. A few miles from Truro. The cottgae is very large and is surrounded by a very large secluded garden. Ideal for dogs and children. I cannot underestimate how peaceful and tranquil the cottage location is. Shops, pubs, restuarants and petrol garage are all near the cottage. The wonderful Trevaunce Cove is a short walk or 5 minute drive away. A tennis club is next to the cottage that allows pay and play. This is our fifth time staying in the cottage. It has ample sized rooms inside with all amenities included in the hire charge. A log burner in the kitchen and coal fire in the lounge make the cottage lovely and warm in the colder months. There is ample parking for more than one car. We have a large people carrier. The cottage is suitable loacted for some lovely walks. The people of St Agnes are so friendly. The local pubs are very friendly and allow... more
