    The apartment is fully refurbished every year. Beds are comfortable. The lounge is home from home with all you need to entertain you. The kitchen has every facility you need, including condiments. Toiletries are provided in the bath/shower rooms. Soft furnishings are modern. The master bedroom is large with a sitting area, with sea views. It has an ensuite shower room. A continental breakfast can be provided on request. Pets may be accomodated following discussion with the owner. Children are welcome at any age. Cot, high chair and black out blind can be provided on request, free of charge. Both the lounge and master bedroom have a 'juliet' balcony.

    Newquay Airport is approximatly 40 minutes away. There is a good selection of national car hire services available on site, and an abundance of taxi's. The train and national bus station is 2 miles from the apartments. Many taxi firms operate from this site, and meet buses and trains. The post code for sat nav's is PL25 3RX. If you are comming in from the A30 you leave at the sign for St. Austell. This brings you on to the A391. As soon as you get to the roundabout with The Carclaze Pub, and The Premier Lodge on the left side you can see St. Austell bay in front of you. At the next roundabout you turn right, and Pochin House is about 5oo yrds. on the right.

Not the cheapest but worth every penny. The apartment (2 bedrooms) was clean, spacious and comfortable, very well-equipped, with fabulous views. The owner, Jenny, couldn't have been more helpful, and check in/out was all done for our convenience.
Imagine my delight when I found a delicious cream tea on the kitchen table when we arrived! Also, unexpectedly for self-catering, a lot of food items - milk, cereals, bread, tea and coffee, fruit and yogurts - were provided, and a big Tesco is five minutes' drive away. The kitchen was very well-equipped and, most importantly for a good holiday, the beds were very comfortable.
Very well-placed for visiting both sides of St. Austell bay, from Mevagissey to Fowey with all the little coves in between. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are very easy to get to by car and both well-worth visiting.
Can't recommend it highly enough and we'll definitely go back.
