    Middle Coombe is a beautiful 16 century cob & thatch farmhouse, listed grade 2*, nestled in its own sheltered valley with extensive ancient outbuildings. Coombe is surrounded by 200 acres of organic farmland (where we raise our organic beef cattle) and 200 acres of mixed woodland (with wild red deer). An extensive public access footpath network runs throughout, with it's own surprises. The house (available for rent throughout the year) is full of atmosphere and character, much loved and with fine furniture and oak paneling.

    On site, we also have a solar heated swimming pool, eco hot tub, children's play area with a large trampoline with safety net, sand pit, slide and willow dome.

    For wet days, there's a cider barn, for indoor games which include table tennis and a pool...

    The spacious homely kitchen has a large range Aga as well as an electric hob and oven. There are 2 highchairs available for your use.
    The cots available are 2 travel and 1 full size wooden one, though we do ask that you supply your own cot bedding.

    The lounge seats are 3 large sofas in the living room where there is an open log fire, and in the TV/childrens play room/library there is also a 2 seater sofa, armchair and several bean bags.

What can I say. They say your wedding should be the best day of your life but it was that and so much more. Was a hard feat considering all the good times we've had but we did it!
