    The apartment (terrace bungalow) is located amongst other similar holiday properties but a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere prevails . There are extensive grounds to wander around, with two lakes. The well run Fernhill Hotel is on the doorstep, with it's fine restaurant and a swimming pool which is availabe for our guests to use during the summer months (permit provided).

    asy to get to by road, Fernhill is located off the A3052 Lyme Regis Road, very close to the junction with the main A35 just outside Charmouth. The A35 offers good links eastwards to London via the M3, and westwards to Devon & Cornwall. The property is located just 15 miles from the M5 motorway, the M5 linking with points west or Bristol, Wales, the Midlands, and the north west.

    There is a bus stop right at the entrance to the Fernhill site for routes 31 (Axminster, Lyme Regis to Dorchester, Weymouth) and X53 Exeter to Weymouth 'Jurassic Coast' route.

    There is a mainline rail station at Axminster (on London line) 6 miles away.

    Exeter International Airport is just 30 miles away. There are good road links to London Heathrow and Gatwick.

This is a very well equipped and well appointed chalet. The living area, which included a sofa bed, was bigger than expected and the bedroom and bathroom were of a reasonable size. This was an excellently well equipped holiday home. We stayed for one week and were overwhelmed by the cleanliness and general standard of the accommodation! Elaine contacted me by phone the day before we were due to arrive.....a lovely personal touch, and we were greeted, on arrival, with a lovely bottle of wine and a few little extras to help... more

Clean well presented,spacious,comfortable accommodation.Basic supplies of essentials and a welcoming gift pack of local produce, a lovely touch. Regular buses to Lyme Regis, great to leave car at home! Parking close to bungalow. more
