    Holiday Rental House –
    1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2
Highland Perthshire is renowned for its breathtaking scenery and the cottage’s idyllic location makes it the ideal base from which to explore. A mile to the west, the beautiful arts and crafts conservation village of Fortingall stands at the mouth of Glen Lyon, one of Scotland’s natural treasures. A few miles to the south, Kenmore, another conservation village makes the most of its waterside location at the eastern end of Loch Tay. Heading north you can find Schiehallion, Loch Tummel, with its spectacular Queen’s view, and Loch Rannoch, where the Black Forest is one of the last remaining vestiges of the ancient Caledonian forest that once covered much of northern Scotland.

    Additional amenities & feature info
The design brief was to create something special, flooded with natural light that brought the traditional stone built cottage bang up to date. With velux windows in every room and raised ceilings the cottage has a bright and airy feel. The open plan sitting room /dining room /kitchen provides a spacious and flexible living space.

The kitchen is fully equipped with Bosch and AEG appliances and has everything you would need to prepare a romantic meal for two or just a light snack.

The cottage has full oil fired central heating and fuel for the wood burning stove is included in your rental.

Booked for our second wedding anniversary. It's a stunning little cottage, perfect for two. Nice little touches such as a wee carton of milk and shortie for the arrival. Placed behind the 'main' road between Kenmore and Killin, it's in a great location for walking. The cottage is up quite a steep driveway but doesn't cause any issues for driving... more

Delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for suggestion about Wi-Fi. We have had a few guest ask about this so had it installed last week. more

I stayed in burn cottage last weekend with my partner and had the best time! The cottage is so beautiful and has everything you need, it was so comfortable and looks even better than the photos in real life.. The setting is so peaceful and full of wildlife, you hardly need to leave the grounds at all! Aberfeldy is a... more

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in Burn Cottage and found the experience to be peaceful and relaxing. The cottage is nicely decorated, a lot of thought has went into this as is has everything needed for a short or long stay, including a washing machine and log stove. Bedding and towels are provided, but suggest taking... more
