With three bedrooms, a ground floor double with en-suite, a double and a twin on the first floor, this cottage can sleep six people. There is also a ground floor bathroom, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with open fire. Outside there is a rear lawned garden, front patio with furniture, barbecue and loch views, and ample off road parking. Greenbrae is a great base for touring Dunvegan and beyond.

When we booked the property for a one-week stay, it was fairly new on the listings so we had no reviews to compare it to. Thankfully by the time we went on our holiday the reviews had started and, on the whole, we agree with them. Our group was a good mix of very young, in the middle and growing old gracefully so quite a difficult group to please but despite this we were happy!

The cottage is very easy to find with the directions given, set away from the road so there's not very much to hear and in any case the amount of traffic is fairly light. While there are other properties in the area, they are far enough away to still feel quite isolated. The garden is small but enough to dry washing and have a good play - although you are only a few minutes away from the proper outdoors! Facilities are good and there's most utensils in the kitchen you'll need for cooking. Large fridge/freezer so you can do a big shop without fear of space!
