    Hightrees is a 4 bedroom detached bungalow at the entrance to the Drimsynie Estate. Views from the lounge are of the tall sequoia trees, over the golf course and towards the head of Loch Goil. Steps away from the footbridge that leads to the shore side walk into the village.

    Ferry: Hunters Quay: 49.0 km
    Lochgoilhead is situated just over an hours drive from Glasgow Airport. It is a small rural village, situated at the head of a sea loch (tidal lake) in stunning fjord like setting.

    From Glasgow M8 motorway head past airport and follow signs for the Erskine Bridge. Over the Erskine Bridge follow the A82 for Loch Lomond.

    Drive alongside Loch Lomond on the A82 until Tarbet (Note - There are several Tarbets in Scotland!) At Tarbet keep left onto the A83 passing through Arrochar.

    Several miles after Arrochar you will start to climb a very significant hill. This is known as the 'Rest and be Thankful'. At the top of the hill there is a car park and viewpoint, and a small road signposted 'Lochgoilhead' .

I booked Hightrees Holiday Home for a short break with my family (there were 6 adults and 2 children in the party) and I can honestly say that it is the best short break we have ever had. Altogether, we were very pleased with the place. The house comfortably suited 4 adults and 5 children including 1 baby. the location is suitable for many different day trips and the price was reasonable. In the kitchen we found everything needed for self catering and the house was clean upon our arrival. I have three remarks that can upgrade this... more

A spacious bungalow set in a wonderful location. Unfortunately both the exterior and interior are a bit tired and website photographs certainly do not reflect the present condition of the property.
