Wonderful holiday
What an absolutely fantastic family holiday. Beautiful, peaceful, luxurious and wonderful. The whole family loved the week but next time we go we will book a fortnight as there's so much to do.

Perfect place for a family holiday for all ages
We have just returned from a wonderful week at these cottages with our family of 12 -ages ranging from 7 months to 75 years. Even our dogs came with us. Everything exceeded our expectation and there was nothing left to chance. The cottages are comfortable, clean and cosy and well designed and well appointed. My grandchildren and children spent hours in the large, well heated pool area and the well equipped games room and we all loved the hot tubs and beautiful countryside. I have no hesitation in recommending these cottages and hope to be back soon. Thank you Kate.

A delightful place to stay
Our family (2 adults, 2 children aged 13 and 11) stayed in The Old Stables for a week in August. The cottage was lovely: clean, well furnished and kitted out—see the pictures. It is located next to a field of barley, so quiet and pleasant.
We used the pool pretty much every day. It’s only 10 m long, but fun just the same. The hot tub is an added bonus. The games room had table tennis, mini-pool and football, which was also a good distraction. The tennis court is in excellent also. The weather was unexpectedly lovely, so we used the grill twice.
The location is fabulous. There is so much to see and do within an hour’s drive. We went white-water rafting on the Tay; clay pigeon shooting in Kirkcaldy (Cluny Activities - highly recommend); visited St. Andrew’s; and—much to our surprise—spent an afternoon swimming and sunning at Silver Sands Beach in Aberdour.
Kate, the owner, is lovely and so helpful. She really helped make our stay memorable.
I recommend Newhill Farm highly.

A Scottish Gem
Just spent a wk in Horse Mill Cottage, family of five (kids ages 7,11 and 12) and our dog. What a fabulous cottage and facilities. The cottages itself was very spacious yet cosy and felt like home. The swimming pool and games room were used daily, the kids couldn’t wait to get back from our days out to go for a swim.
Situated on the edge of the forest meant that trail running and dog walking was fantastic. My eldest said it was the best running he has done.😊
The location was spot on for visits to surrounding attractions including lovely beaches at Elie and St Andrews.
We holiday in Great Britain at least twice a year and always like to book a good cottage, but Newhill Farm Cottages right from the cottage through to the facilities and helpful owners really has to be up there as one of the best.

Family birthday weekend
13 adults and a toddler locked away for a family weekend. It was amazing. The cottages are beautiful and perfect for a party atmosphere. Quality facilities and very clean. So many thoughtful finishing touches and so homely. A gem of a find. We saw deer and red squirrels right on the door step. The games room is packed full of ideas for every age. We actually cancelled our Sunday lunch outing and totally chilled in the grounds and local woods. A wonderful place.

Weekend to remember!
I stayed here with my family for my Uncles 60th and it was fabulous from start to finish. The barn conversion has been completed to a very high standard and there was everything we needed. We booked all three cottages and had exclusive use of the facilities. The pool, hot tub, games room, tennis court are all fantastic. The kitchen in Horse Mill Cottage is perfect for hosting large family meals. The rooms were very clean and pleased to see that the property has been looked after. This is a gem of a place to come and relax and enjoy some family time. Plenty of nice walks if you need to stretch your legs. Don't forget the charcoal if you're planning on having a bbq, nobody in our party remembered and I picked 10kg up from Auchtermuchty and decided to carry it back to the cottages (I really should've used the car 🤔) Great holiday break, hopefully be back again.
