A wonderfully spacious and relaxing place to stay - whatever the capricious Welsh weather may throw at you! If you spend a week here I assure you that you will want to come back.
The property is detached with its own parking and garden with fantastic views across to the majestic Cader Idris (I fell in love with this mountain while I was there and had to buy a print by a local artist to take home with me). The cottage is close enough to walk into Dolgellau (1 mile or so, but still feels 'miles away' up in the hills).
Inside, the property is spacious and tastefully decorated, blending traditional stonework and slate flooring in the hall with a very modern kitchen and comfortable furnture in the lounge. Overall a stylish blend of the modern and antique furnture. There is a lovely log burner in the lounge - a must for us as my wife loves tending a real fire!
