    Additional Location Information
Situated on the north coast of the St. Davids Peninsula, in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Trefin lies between the villages of Porthgain and Abercastle Just a short walk from Aberfelin (Aberdraw) beach, this quaint coastal village, despite being small in size, boasts good facilities for locals and holidaymakers alike. Not only does it have a well-stocked village shop and a friendly pub and restaurant.

Trefin also has its own Art Gallery/Tearoom - Oriel y Felin which exhibits the work of resident St. David’s artist Pauline Beynon. It displays an ever-changing selection of paintings, cards, ceramics, jewellery and prints. The adjoining tearoomserves a delightful array of light lunches, soups, teas and coffees – a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing lunch.

The centre of the village has it’s own original roundabout, which has developed around the old disused village pump on the green.

We haven't stopped dreaming of Wales and this house since we got back from a half term holiday. Despite Autumnal weather when the rest of the country basked in sun, I wouldn't have changed a thing. The house is lovely and warm and comfortable, tasteful and interesting too as there's an Aga style cooker, which makes the very best Sunday...

Friends of ours over from France stayed here while we stayed just around the corner. Another friend of mine used to live next door but now lives up in Square and Compass, a couple of miles away. We had dinner and socialised here quite a few times and had no problems. The facilities were good and the rooms comfortable. The... more

Pros: Very close to the coastal path and beach Reasonably comfy bed Cottage does have character and with a few tweaks could be really lovely. Some nice touches like the nice rugs and chairs in bedrooms. Cons: The cottage was full of spiders! We must have got rid of about 20 and there were more we couldn't get to. Cobwebs...
