We rented Glenriver for 3 nights with our twin toddlers. It was the ideal cabin for us. A creek runs under the porch and it was perfect for our 2 1/2 year olds to sit in, splash, and search for crawdads (although the creek can get deep to further up!). The river then runs about 20 yards past the creek, and you can hear its roar from every room of the house. The porch stretches the width of the house, and we spent most of our time out there. So relaxing!
As for the decor, it was definitely decorated in the 90s (lots of reds and forest greens), but I don't think mountain home decor ever goes out of style. We found it comfortable. The home is for sale, and it does seem like it's a little more neglected that the other homes on the street, but I would stay here again without hesitation.
