I booked our party of 10 (4 adults, 6 kids) into Chalet Blanchot for the opening week of the 2013-14 season based on solid Tripadvisor reviews, and we really enjoyed our stay.
Chalet staff Daisy and Will welcomed us warmly and looked after us well for our 7 nights in La Plagne 1800. They offered two sittings for dinner so the kids could eat early and adapted the menu to suit their palate. They were very tolerant of the noise and general mayhem that comes with 6 kids under age 10, and made an effort to engage with them, source appropriate movies, keep them safe from kitchen hazards and generally ensure they had a nice stay. This was greatly appreciated.
The village itself has a charming atmosphere, and the views over the ski runs and mountains from Chalet Blanchot were stunning.
