We stayed here with our 2 adult children and could all have a private room. The quinta is an authentic thick stone walled house with two floors. Both floors have different entrances. The room downstairs is large and cool with a small bathroom, and a huge rock. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a larger bathroom, kitchen with all utilities (fridge, freezer, dish washer, large table) and a small sitting area. There is no washing machine in the house, but we could use the washing machine of the owner, who lives in the house nearby (her house is close, but not within sight, hence the privacy). Outside is a beautiful terrace with mountain view, a fruit orchard (that we could use) and olive trees. The place is truly beautiful, authentic and comfortable. Wifi availability was erratic.
Interesting historical villages like Guarda or Belmonte are near by and you can hike or drive around in the beautiful mountains of the Serra da Estrela. A natural fluvial swimming pool was close by as well (with... more
