My husband, 11yo daughter and I found the Ka Laki Niu (The Lucky Coconut), unit #124, to be comfortable and accommodating. Our previous stays were in the Kahana area as well, so it was nice to return to the same beach and quiet community.
The 2 bedroom / 1 bath, ground floor unit was nicely updated, decorated and comfortable. It has an AC unit, fully stocked kitchen and bath with a semi-private outdoor patio seating area where we could have our morning coffee or evening cocktail and talk about our day. There is no washer/dryer or BBQ in the unit, though the complex BBQ area and laundry room is a short walk from the unit. The laundry contains coin-operated machines and vending for detergent/dryer sheets.
The owner, Melody, was extremely helpful with her communications and recommendations prior to arrival. The "extras" provided with the condo, such as the cooler, snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs and mats, beach towels, etc. made our stay even...
