My wife and I stayed here for 3 days in April, 2014. I can't say enough about how great this place is. Incredibly private, down a dirt road (that I imagine could get tricky if it rained heavily). While there were just the two of us, the place can easily sleep 5 or more. Wonderful kitchen, beautiful front lawn with lawn chairs and tables. Picnic tables in the front and back for dining outdoors. Very, very quiet and private. The one downside is the lack of a view from the house, but there is a great view up by the parking area that makes up for it.
This is a place to go if you want to experience the real Maui, away from the tourist beaches. Great hiking is very close by, and Makawao town is only a few minutes away. more
