After a rough start - thanks to my email junk box - we thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. There is a wrap-around deck which is screened in on the entry side of the house. There we found firewood stocked up for us and a few comfortable looking seats. Upon entry, we found ourselves roughly in the corner of the open first floor with the kitchen on the right, the dining area just to the left, and the living room straight ahead. The dining area seats 6 and the kitchen was much better stocked with condiments and spices than I expected and had everything we needed for our trip to make breakfast before we headed out for the day.
To me, the best part of the house was the living room. The couch was very comfortable, making it difficult to break away from the wood-burning fireplace and college football bowl games. There was more firewood than I think could be used in the entire winter underneath the deck, with some kindling scattered on the ground next to the neatly split and stacked... more
