I stayed here with some of my immediate family. The big plus is the close proximity to the beach, which is beautiful and unspoiled. Also, restaurants in the town are all walkable. Best feature was the shower downstairs which was a good pressure and hot. We did not prepare any meals in the kitchen though it seemed well equipped. The cottage is reasonably spacious.
The stairs inside were a bit steep and slipply so not that child friendly and we had to be very careful with our four year old.
The decor, especially downstairs is a bit dark and depressing and there is no sense of feeling next to the sea. A makeover and update would be a good idea. We were out most of the time so maybe didn't matter but felt it could be oppressive for a longer stay. It is hard to sum it up as we didn't really have any complaints, it was fine for the price, we were not disappointed that we had booked it and yet we wouldn't choose to stay there again! Was fine for a once only experience. more
