I have stayed in alot of cottages on vacation in England and Wales but this is one of the best places I’ve stayed both in location and quality. If you want any of the following you must come. Reasonable price; peace and quiet; stunning views from front door ; teaming hedgerows; wild animals/birds in abundance; the most well equipped cottage with a real cosy (and not manically modern) feel; family/couples or single friendly ( I was on my own and I found plenty to do) ; challenging and easy walks; OS map at the property; local lakes to rival the lake district; a magnificent dam; waterfalls; fantastic pubs….and food in them; local village 5 mins by car with shops and cashpoint; hospitable and friendly owner; wi-fi; landline ….I could go on. Yes, it’s off the main road a little but that is the point isn’t it! I had no sat nav and I found it easily. 7 days of absolute bliss. Thankyou Tannyffridd! more

We found the farm house after a couple of wrong turns and wow what a view. We were delighted to find tea, coffee, fresh milk, eggs and home baked welsh cakes with jam when we arrived. This is a large, comfortable farm house with lots of essentials supplied. more
