You arrive at the villa at the top of a winding road, through the electric gates and into a large courtyard. The villa is impressive from the start, with a central entrance hall with tiled floors and useful places for shoes, books, toys etc. This was my second stay and I have stayed in both wings of the villa. Both are comfortable, being cool during the heat of the day, but warm and cosy at night (especially useful in late September/October. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, having large windows and nice open views. I found everything clean and fresh and there is plenty of storage space for cloths etc. The bathrooms are very clean and well presented; it is a nice treat to have a bath with a large open window overlooking the forest. The pool is great for cooling off and nice place to chill-out with a glass of something local. The patios to the rear are also a great way to have a barbecue and enjoy the evening.
