Villa Albarosa B is a gracious house on the coast which features a terrace, a patio, and a private garden with a breathtaking view of the sea and the coast. It has access to a swimming-pool.

Villa Albarosa B is 50 square meters (about 538 square feet) large, and it can sleep up to four people. It is equipped with air-conditioning and large parking space.

Villa Albarosa B has a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a living-room with a kitchenette and a sofa, a patio, a large terrace, and a garden.

The place

The villa is located on a prominent stretch of coast between Vietri sul Mare and Amalfi, 5 km (about 3.1 miles) away from Vietri sul Mare.

From Vietri you have the beginning of the coastal road along which you will see all the famous towns of the Amalfi Coast one after the other as you pass by. After running along the coast and going past Amalfi and Positano, you will be able to arrive in Sorrento no later than in an hour.

Villa Albarosa is a simple one-storey cottage nestled in a terraced land in a prominent position. It is placed before the blue sky and the blue sea, and it is surrounded by the vivid green of a lawn and the lush Mediterranean vegetation.

The cottage is divided in two halves (parts), reason why you will find two same-size apartments, Villa Albarosa A and Villa Albarosa B.

As soon as you arrive on the terraces, your eyes will meet the wide arch of the Gulf of Salerno: on the right you will have a picturesque glimpse of the Amalfi Coast, while on the left and further away you will see the mountainous coast of the Parco Nazionale del Cilento (National Park of Cilento).

And if you look down right below, you will see a long and steep stretch of verdant coast due to cultivations of lemons which seem to plunge into the sea. And at sea level, you will see from the above the little village of Vietri Sul Mare, unmistakable for its wide beach of grey sand and the large shining majolica dome and bell tower of its cathedral.

The air is transparent and perfume-filled, and the colors are bright: by looking around near the villa, you will be able to see bits of the roofs of some houses immersed in the surrounding green.

You will soon realize, just as I did, that this place is an angle of paradise. Lucky the one who can live here forever! …

The villa is found inside an age-old seven-hectare farm still fenced in by a high and old stone wall. The terrain descends from up above the coast down towards the sea, and it is cultivated with lemon pergolas characteristic of the Amalfi Coast. On the highest part of the land, there's an age-old main villa and other three small ones which are about 100 meters (about 328 feet) away one from another.

The agricultural farm, besides growing lemons, produces the famous Limoncello liqueur and other liqueurs made of fennel and laurel. You can taste these and other products at the main villa.

The owners live in the place and will be at your disposal with all their discretion in case you need any help. You can book dinners at the main villa or even book guided tours or excursions on boats.

You need a car during your stay at Villa Albarosa B. You will find the first shops and restaurants only 4 km (about 2.5 miles) away. The access to the villa is convenient: you can park the car not far from the house and walk towards the villa with no need to climb any steps.

The garden and the swimming pool

At Villa Albarosa B you will find a large garden consisting of a lawn where your kids will be able to play freely. You will be able to stroll around the green areas inside the property or even go on a true guided tour within the premises of the agricultural farm.

The shared swimming-pool is located next to the villa, and it has an unusual shape. It is 16 x 6 meters (about 53 x 20 feet) large and dug into the rock. It also has a crystal-plate cover. Near the pool you will find a sun-drenched area with umbrellas, deck chairs, a bathroom, and showers.

The house, the terrace and the private garden

Villa Albarosa B is on the ground floor. In front of the house you will find a lovely garden completely at your exclusive disposal. The garden has the shape of a green terrace overlooking the sea and the coast. There you will be able to sunbathe while lying on comfortable sun loungers or even relax in the shade of a one-thousand-year-old carob and enjoy the colors and perfumes of a rustic Mediterranean garden.

You can enter the living-room from the garden through a large arched patio door. From the living-room, a second arched patio door will lead you to the wonderful terrace overlooking the sea and the coast.

The terrace is shaded by a pergola and furnished with sun loungers and beautiful wrought-iron and majolica garden furniture. Colorful Bougainvillea grow in terracotta vases, and vases of red dangling cranesbills embellish the railing.

You will enjoy spending time on this terrace. You will be able to dine under the stars, or if can wake up early in the morning, even to enjoy a fantastic dawn: the sun rises behind the Cilento mountains, away and with sky-blue hues surrounded by a pinkish light which inundates the entire arch of the Gulf of Salerno and the sea…

In the living-room, you will find a couch, two chair-beds, a television, and a table with chairs. In an angle, there is the gracious kitchenette. It is equipped with a two-burner stove, a small oven, and a fridge.

From the living-room you can reach the double bedroom, where you will find a bed, a comfortable closet, and a small television set. The bathroom with shower is beautiful and elegant, and you reach it through the bedroom. The bedroom features a large arched window overlooking the garden.

At Villa Albarosa B, furnishings are well cared for, complete and elegant. The interior boasts the typical style of Mediterranean homes: beautiful antique furniture with several colorful ceramics objects of local artifact which render the rooms bright and cozy.

The beach

Villa Albarosa is near one of the largest and most beautiful beaches of the Amalfi Coast: the beach of Vietri sul Mare. It is a beach of fine sand enclosed within a picturesque inlet. There are bars and restaurants near the beach.

During spring/summer time, in case you want, you can use the services of beach establishments which offer you the possibility of renting umbrellas and deck chairs.

Nearby tourist attractions

During your stay at Villa Albarosa, you will be in a convenient place to visit the coast of Amalfi, Capri and Ischia, Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum, the Vesuvius, Naples, Caserta, Salerno, Paestum and other sites by using the efficient and economical public transportation network either through sea or land.

You will be 5 km (about 3.1 miles) away from Vietri sul Mare, famous for its production of artifactual ceramics. In Vietri Sul Mare you will have the railway station with the local trains and also the access way to the Salerno-Naples highway. You can easily reach the archaeological ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, Sorrento, the Vesuvius, Naples, the temples of Paestum and the National Park of Cilento either by car, by train or by bus.

Only 7 km (about 4.3 miles) away from the villa, at the port of Salerno, you will have ferries and hydrofoils which connect with frequent and economical trips the coast of the Parco Nazionale del Cilento (National Park of Cilento), Salerno, Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento, Naples, and the islands of Capri and Ischia. You can even easily plan one-day excursions.
