We are veteran winter travelers to Italy but normally have stayed in the North ... this time we added a week at Trullo Bellissimo, arriving on New Year's Eve. The house is about 8 km from the "citta bianca" of Ostuni, filled with interesting sights and good restaurants. It's in an area with many other trull, although most seemed to...

“All we could have wished for & more - really beautiful”

We’ve had a wonderful week here at Trullo Bellissimo, so many thoughtful and considerate touches have made it so. From Jane allowing us an early entry – with the delicious welcome goodies – the divine olive oil, along with Jane’s delicious, freshly-baked bread was real soul food after a day and a halfs travelling. The trullo and surroundings are beautiful...

So glad that the thunder and lightening didn't spoil their holiday. Thank heavens we thought to put lots of DVD's and books in the house for such days. Their comments also put me in mind of the fact that a couple of games such as backgammon and scrabble wouldn't go amiss, so must sort this out for future reference. This... more

“Fabulous House In A Fabulous Setting!”

Full marks for this stunning renovation. Catered for every need. Jane the housekeeper met us on arrival and gave us a very warm welcome. From there we just relaxed, ate well (in the many nearby restaurants) and enjoyed a very much needed rest. Only negative was that the pool wasn't heated!
