The website for this property does not do it justice at all! I was a little anxious that I may have booked us a dud (we booked late and not much was left) but as soon as we arrived, any worries disappeared. The house is a 70s style design (white concrete with horizontal lines) and set in lovely grounds. It’s on top of hills to the west of Monopoli, an hour’s drive from Brindisi and 10kms from Alberobello. Alberobello is a lovely town with some great shops, bars and restaurants, and its trulli area is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The house is surrounded by gorgeous rolling fields and is set in a lane close to three other properties; it shares the pool and grounds with one other house. For two families holidaying together but wanting some privacy, the two houses together would be great.
