This spacious house is located in the village of Nicolosi, halfway between downtown Catania and the top of Mount Etna.
Nicolosi is a small but lively town, which is famous as a quiet and relaxing holiday place where you can find fine restaurants and buy locally produced food in small shops.
But the village of Nicolosi is also famous for hosting the main excursion centre for Mount Etna and the main skiing resort in Sicily, featuring 10 km of skiiing pistes. This is located 15 km (10 miles) north of the village and you can go there by bus from the main square.
