    Hunters Moon is an award-winning Dartington Estate family estate less than one mile from both Totnes and Dartington. Situated in an elevated position with views to Dartmoor and hills on all sides, this is modern convenience in the heart of the countryside. The location is a perfect family home, with lots of safe space in and out. The gardens boast swings, a slide and a tree house set into an apple tree plus a large green right outside the back gate. Also there is a play sandpit. Recently extended, the house has a large kitchen and dining area which opens out on to a large back deck and the garden. A high chair is available if required. At the front there is another deck, facing south. Both gardens are securely bounded by hedges or fences. There is also a grand piano in the living room.

    By car: from the A38 take the A384 road at Buckfastleigh signposted to Totnes, Dartmouth & Kingsbridge. After about 8 km you arrive at Shinners Bridge roundabout in Dartington. Go straight over and continue up Cott Road for 400 meters. just after the Cott Inn on your left you arrive at Hunters Moon. The house is on the corner just past the big green on the right.

    By rail: Totnes is on the main London-Pemzance route. There is a taxi rank outside the station and Hunters Moon is about 1 km away.

    By air: Exeter & Plymouth airports are 40 minutes away by car.

Stayed for 1 week with my 2 sisters and 4 boys aged 6 to 11. Fantastic location with lots to do within walking distance although car required to get to the lovely South Devon beaches. House very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen . Pretty garden with seating and treehouse that the boys loved . Access from back garden to outdoor communal green where boys were able to play football and rounders'. Helen was really helpful making sure we had everything we needed in advance. Would thoroughly recommend. more
