Almyrida Beach Villa Review
Lovely villa in a great location, near to a beautiful sandy beach. Ground floor terrace is shady but roomy and fairly private with surrounding foliage, ideal for dining. The upper terrace (from main bedroom) is more sunny with great views of the sea. It would be of benefit to have sun loungers on the upper terrace.
The kitchen area is adequate but lighting is poor. There's a good variety of equipment but crockery and cutlery is rather sparse; it was only just sufficient for 3 occupants.
Bedrooms: the upper bedrooms were good (one double and a twin) but the bedroom on the lower floor was most unwelcoming - with just four very small windows and lacking in home furnishings. It is a large room with twin beds, a bedside table with lamp, a built- in wardrobe, a table and two chairs. It was also very cold in May. (Maybe an advantage at high season, though). I doubt this room would be suitable for younger children as it is two floors... more
