    Holiday Rental House –
    3 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 6

Our gorgeous cottage has been lovingly renovated and offers a high standard of accommodation. It dates back to 1750 and has amazing charm and character including exposed beams and an open fireplace. Winkleigh was awarded the best village in England to raise children and is perfectly positioned for touring Devon. The cottage can sleep up to five people plus a baby. A travel cot is provided for your convenience.

The cottage is situated just off the village square where you'll find a convenience store, post office, 'The Mad Butcher of Winkleigh', a fishmonger and two pubs. A short 5 minute stroll away is the Winkleigh Cider Factory - definitely worth a visit. There are many walks available from the do...

Great cottage, comfortable, cosy & warm. Contains all you need for a relaxing holiday. All mod cons. the wood burner is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine, just relax and nod off. Bliss. Some quirks but what do you expect in a cottage over 250 years old. Just soak up the atmosphere. Owners are very friendly and helpful... more

Thank you so much for wonderful words Mike. My husband is a fan of the ales at the Kings Arms, so your review put a knowing smile on his face. We look forward to hearing again from you in the future. more

Apart from the small village of Winkleigh (and the lovely rural countryside) there is nothing immediately on the doorstep but if you have a car and... more

Management response:

So fab to read that you loved our cottage. And I'm especially glad all the baby equipment came in handy - packing the car for a little one is certainly no mean feat, and I'm glad we managed to save you some valuable space in your car. xx more

We had a lovely weeks stay at this cottage. It was slightly smaller than we got from the photos but don't let that put you off at all. It was beautiful, clean, home from home, enchanting and just what we was looking for. You can tell this has been used as a family home, everything you need is there and... more

Management response:

So glad you had a relaxing week away - our doggy guests are certainly very spoilt down here with lots of walks and dog friendly pubs. And I'm glad the itinerary book came in handy. xx more
