    How to get there
From the south take M1 until you get to M18 (signposted Doncaster /Hull) follow it until you get to the M62 (sign post Goole /Hull). Follow M62 until you have gone over the bridge over the river and then take the exit to Howden which I think is also signposted Bridlington. Turn right go straight on to the next roundabout then take the A614 towards Bridlington (BE CAREFUL HERE TO KEEP TO 30MPH UNTIL YOU GET OVER THE NEXT BRIDGE because everyone and I mean all of the Mothers Union catering committee have had speeding fines).

Follow all the signs to Bridlington and then follow signs to Flamborough. When you get to Flamborough village you will get to a sign on the corner to North Landing. Go straight on (over a mini roundabout with a memorial in the middle) and head for the sea/ cliffs....

We arrived in the dark following a long, slow drive in busy post christmas traffic up the M1. The cottage was welcoming, with lots of fuel for the wood burning stove, and we were soon relaxing by its heat. Waking before dawn to watch the stunning views from the top bedroom reveal themselves was sublime. In a place this beautiful,... more

We had a glorious week here. The cottage is cosy, very well equipped and immaculately maintained. The location is absolutely stunning! Thornwick Bay is literally yards from the back garden and there are incredible views all along the coast. Lovely clifftop walks in both directions and sea birds in abundance. We saw puffins in the bay below and there are... more
