There are apartment sublets in the general area, many of which are available for a week, probably for less than $200/night. Use Google maps to learn the area around the QE. One site that has these rentals is sublet.com, and specify downtown Montreal. ... more

re winter driving -- yes we do get some bad conditions, however, 90% of the time the roads are fine, we plow them, salt them and do keep circulating. Many rental cars are even equipped with winter tires as well. ... more
