You might checkout rentals in the Glen Shiel - Kyle of Lochalsh area. The former ferry from Kyle to Skye was replaced by a bridge some years ago and bridge tolls have also been abolished thus it's quick to access Skye from Glen Shiel. I assume you'll have a rental car but ... more
