I agree with you. I didn't think much of Torquay when I was on vacation there last year with my wife. I thought it was run down with a lot of shops out of business. So sad because it could be sooooo much better. :(( ... more

I have recently booked an apartment at Heywood Lodge, which looks fine on the website. It doesn't appear however in the Riviera Guide this year and is not on the Torbay Self Catering Association guide. Is this necessarily a bad thing? I don't want to pay for a ... more
